Frequently asked Questions and Access Statement

Postponement and cancellation due to Government Restrictions and Guidance

We prefer that you postpone but will always allow you to cancel where the law gives you the right to do so.

We promise to keep all our customers safe. We ask you not to book if the law prevents you visiting or staying with us, or if Government guidance means that you should not visit or stay with us even if the law still allows you to. Our promise also means that there are limited circumstances in which we may need to cancel your holiday.

Either of us has the right to cancel your holiday, or any unused days, if the law prevents you from visiting or staying with us. If your holiday has not started, then we will refund your booking in full less any costs we have already incurred on your holiday which we cannot recover elsewhere (“Direct Costs”). If your holiday has started, then we will refund in full any days unused when we cancel, again less any Direct Costs. We will not charge an administration fee.

If your holiday has not started, then we will refund your booking in full. If your holiday has started, then we will refund in full any days unused when we cancel. We will not charge an administration fee and we will not deduct any Direct Costs.

Changes to our facilities and services due to government restrictions or guidance

We may make reasonable changes to the facilities and services at the park provided these changes do not materially reduce their quality. Our changes may reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements or implement minor technical adjustments and improvements, for example to address a health and safety risk.

If we make changes to the facilities and services at the park which materially reduce their quality, we will give you the choice between confirming your booking, agreeing new booking dates with us or cancelling. If your holiday has not started and you decide to cancel, then we will refund your booking in full. If your holiday has started, then we will refund in full any days unused when we cancel. We will not charge an administration fee, and we will not deduct any Direct Costs.

What is the cancellation policy outside of Government Restrictions/Guidance?

Bookings made within 4 weeks of your holiday date must be paid in full.  No refunds will be offered in the event of cancellation if we are not able to re-let the caravan.  Holiday cancellation insurance is recommended.  Full terms and Conditions can be viewed here

How do I secure my reservation?

We ask for a deposit of between £50 and £100 per week secure your reservation.

What are your check in and check out times?

You may check in any time from 3.00pm. Check out is by 10.00am on the day of departure.

Are you child friendly?

Yes – families are most welcome.  We can also provide travel cots, high chairs and bed guards.  We do not charge for these.

Do I need to bring bed linen?

Duvets and pillows are provided and bed linen (duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases) is available for hire if required.

Do I need to bring towels?

Yes – we supply bath mats but you need to bring all towels (bathroom, beach and tea towels).

Gas and Electricity – is this included?

Yes – all services are included in the price of the caravan.

WIFI

To provide WIFI we have teamed up with an internet service provider ‘Camping Connect’. There is a small charge, per device, for WIFI of £3 for 3 days and £5 for a week.

Can you help with activities?

In our information room you will find leaflets and brochures for local attractions and places to visit.  Check out our See and Do page.  There is also a folder with print out of walks in the area. Choose from over 200 circular walks including half day routes, short walks, plus easy access walks here.

Are you dog friendly?

Yes.  Dogs are very welcome at ‘Trees’ and the beach at Wiseman’s Bridge, which can be reached via a lovely walk from the park, is dog friendly all year round. For information I have produced a ‘Woof Guide’ which highlights pet friendly beaches, attractions, pubs, restaurants etc.

If you are bringing your family pet then there is a charge of £10 per dog per stay.

If you are bringing a pet then we ask  that you bring a pet bed or blanket for your dog to sleep on.

Dogs must not be left unaccompanied in your caravan so if you wish to spend the day at an attraction where the dog is not allowed (ie Folly Farm) then you may want to book your dog into one of the nearby day boarding kennels.  These include:-

Do you have pet free caravans?

Yes – three of our Spruce caravans are completely pet free

Do you have an on-site shop?

No – we are a very small caravan holiday park.  We are however only a short distance away from Kilgetty where there is a Co-op that remains open in the evenings until 10pm (except Sunday) and this store stocks the majority of goods that you are likely to want/need.  In Kilgetty you will also find a newsagents/post office, and takeaway restaurants (fish/chips, Chinese and Indian).

Where is the nearest pub?

The nearest pub is the White Horse in Kilgetty which is just a 10 minute walk away.  There is also a lovely pub right on the beach at Wiseman’s Bridge. There is a lovely walk to the Wiseman’s Bridge Inn, along the heritage trail, and takes approx. 25 minutes.

Is there a local bus service?

The 351 bus service travels between Tenby and Pendine via Saundersfoot, Kilgetty and Amroth.  You can flag the bus down outside the caravan park.  The timetable for the bus service can be found here.

Where is the nearest train station?

The nearest train station is in Kilgetty, a 15 minute walk from the caravan park.  You can catch trains into Tenby if you would rather not drive.
